Eaton Hall, founded in 1984, is the creator of several other events and media which have since been acquired by other event organizers.
The Food Safety Summit was created by Eaton Hall in 1999 and is now owned and operated by BNP Media, a major business-to-business publisher and tradeshow company with over 40 titles. The Food Safety Summit is the nation's largest conference and tradeshow on protecting the food supply from contamination, and is attended by major food manufacturers, chain restaurants, supermarkets, and others in the business and scientific communities who work with food. Topics include protecting the food supply from e-coli, salmonella, and other contaminants, as well as issues of quality assurance in manufacturing and retailing of food. Eaton Hall was awarded one of the Fastest 50 Growing Tradeshows in the nation for its successful Food Safety Summit.
The School Building Expo was created by Eaton Hall in 2005 and is now owned and operated by JD Events, which also organizes tradeshows on healthcare buildings and a wide variety of other vertical markets. The School Building Expo is the largest event in the nation on the design and construction of educational facilities, including K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. It is produced in cooperation with the American Institute of Architects Committee on Architecture for Education. The conference covers issues of improving education through the built environment, green design and construction, and other issues relating to how school buildings advance education.
Eaton Hall is also the creator of Exhibit Marketing Magazine, which was acquired by Reed Business Information and incorporated into Tradeshow Week magazine, the nation's leading newsweekly of the trade show industry. While owned by Eaton Hall, Exhibit Marketing received the American Society of Business Press Editors national design award as well as other industry awards for the magazine.
